I have a painfull bunion?

I have bunions on both feet but only the one on my rite foot hurts. I do ballet grade 6 evey time I touch it it really hurts. I went to the docters and he sed it was border line could get better could get worse. Is it really just a bunion or is it something wrong with a nerve mucsle or the bone?
