UFO sighting in New York superbowl night?

I live on long island in NY I was on my way home during half time of superbowl 45 (Feb 6 i think) I saw two Star like objects in the sky about the size of the north star (a tad bit bigger than other stars) and they started to move in all different directions staying very close to each other. They would move around then stop, then they eventually stopped and morphed together it looked like and disappeared. I'm not the only one who saw it, i went on facebook to see a girl see the same thing! any explanation on what this could be? it definitely not an aircraft (at least from this planet if you know what im saying) and no it was not the black eyes peas tommy lol
