Does the pill Stop your period coming on the same day? (also trying for baby)?

Hey i was on the pill for 3 years and i came of it on the 1st day of my last period i was on the gren pack im not quite sure what its called.i did finch my apck as well before i quite but trying for a baby i kno its more likly to happen in like the 3rd month as it takes time for the pill to come out of your styem i have a reagluer period and always come on on a monday and not yet came on today does coming of the pill make my period late ?
