Help me please.?

i'm a 19yrs old girl. i.ve failed to p yearly exams in last 3 yrs. i've to learn from a upper cl boy, but younger in age, in my extra tutorial cl. i'm a dull student & can't answer his ques quite often .in that occasion this guy don't hesitate to punish me b'cos it is the school regulation. it's so humiliating. shud i quit learning? i'm mentally so disturbed i'll not able to p exam.
