Could you give my your opinions about this debate topic?

Giving preferred treatment to students for joining teams, undermines the quality of the team and the academic process. Talentless hacks with marginal skills applying for better grades. Imagine a team dumb as a box of rocks being elected to the National Honor Society. What does that say to other institutions, and how would relate to individual achievements. Non participating students handicapped by a false education system. Would team performance effect the grading system? No wins means no better grades? This issue undermines and compromises the integrity of many standards of education and personal development.
